I have only ever noticed this freezer at this price at Costco. Bought one for my grandmother there last year.

Would you need a truck to get this home or would it fit in a minivan or SUV?

Might go grab this tomorrow....Does anyone know how the energy use of this freezer would compare to a typically chest freezer?

EDIT
nm, here's a article comparing the two types of freezers...Think I may stick with purchasing a chest (link)

Have this freezer & paid a lot more for it 6 months ago. Does the job, quiet & looks good. Worth the $$$.

We used a minivan with the seats down. It stands just under 6 feet in box.

They have a chest freezer as well, slightly larger, 9 cu ft, same make and price.

The one I saw in Richmond BC is made by White Westinghouse, however, I cannot find its info in costco.ca

It's been at that price all of last year. Then it went up to $329. I'm guessing it's back down again. I didn't buy it because it's a manual defrost. Still looking for auto, seems to cost a bit more.
