they're another company owned by netlink. who in turn owns ncix. so yeah, they're good.

as for the x-fi..considering it was ~$60 last month after rebate i wouldn't buy it now at this price unless i desperately needed a sound card. i would rather check out the x-plosion or the newer model set to be released.
