not really that great since the router is not on your receipt - you have no warranty what so ever.
I'm somewhat in the same situation, as I bought two... I saw that they grabbed a Dlink 625 instead of the 615... when he scanned, he only took the one 615 to scan for both... thus my 625 is not on the receipt.

3 months free + 99.99 credit promotion combinable for new customer?
I bought the Modem this evening at FS in Mavis/Britannia. The guy said there was about 30 left.
When I called the number on the package - the CSR told me I had to choose either 3 months free *or* the 99.99 credit.?!?!
Any new customer able to get both promotion? What number did you call? the one on the box or the 1888-Rogers1 ?
*edit* Apparently the agent wasn't aware of promotion 'W9S'.
*edit* activated with Xtreme. After 3 months, can cancel or downgrade to Express:

Thanks OP!Last edited by mooomoose; Aug 28th, 2008 at 10:35 PM. Reason: Added promotion id

Activation problems...
I have problems activating the new modem. I called Rogers to activate it, they said it is ok, but I could not connect to internet, since I am using LinkSYS WRT150N router, they said call LinkSYS. After calling LinkSYS they said there is no problem with router. I have connected my pc directly to new modem, and the only page I am getting is Rogers Online Modem Activation page, which I got error on that. Then I called Rogers again, they said, I need to return the old one first to activate the new one - security reasons ? - Right now, I am using the old one
Do you have similar problems?
thanks...

DLink sucks :)
I had DLink for 2 years and I had lots of problems with it., like:
* wireless laptop disconnects all the time
* cannot see other computers on network
* heating a lot, and freezes, needs hard reset (sometimes i need to put it into refrigirator
to make it work again
* when i use torrent, or download using download managers, connection gets lost
* resets itself randomly, forgetting all the settings...
is that enough? Now I have LinkSYS WRT150N, and I am happy with that, i will return my DLink tomorrow and replace it with LinkSYS. (I am not a newbie, a computer eng. with 15 years of exp.)
My current speed result with old modem & High Speed Internet:
