Also no luck @ the Markham East location... The sales associate said there *might* be a shipment Friday and that it's better to call around noon time to check.

Yes, you can have any of these services on the same modem.

You're right, but the modem/router package will be sold out for a long time (unless you either put a deposit or go into a FS right when the shipment comes in). While the raincheck lasts for 30 days, you might not be able to get a hold of stock.

Given that there is no idea as to when and how many will be received, the Yonge/Dundas store is not taking deposits. However, they have lots of routers on hand so if the modem only package is released as of or after the 15th then the raincheck will still allow the separate items to be combined.

Tried upgrading my 615 router today at the whitby FS. They told me that since the router was "free" they could not let me do that. Anyone have any luck recently with this? Is it better to go in without a receipt?

I did upgraded it on last Sunday from D-link615 to Linksys610N and no problems. I had bought it aobut 10 days ago and decided on Sunday that I would rather upgrade since so many people are complaining about 615.

oh when will they get a new shipment..I need a router bad for my PS3. I was going to buy the linksky router @ bestbuy this past tuesday and it was $60, I went back on Sunday and it was $80. I refuse to pay the extra 20

Bought mine last week.
Activated it last nite. Got the full $113 back as credit
Upgraded to Extreme to get free 3 months free. Saving of $155
Traded in old modem today. Came home plugged in the new one. One minute later everything was working.

The Rep said the deal for the $113 rebate is good until Feb 2009. And must have activated 100's of them that day. I called at 9:45PM
