can these directly play divx and xvid without conversion? it doesn't seem like it, which is what i'm looking for. i'm happy with zen vision m for that reason.

I own the 404 and not everything is compatible. It's best to stick with xvid with simple stereo. It may choke on the AC3 and 5.1 stuff.

Let us all keep in mind this is old stuff...the x05 models will be out in a few weeks....I am not sure how thrilled I would be to spend more than 340$ on a 604 just to find out it's outdated 3 weeks after.
