[eBay.ca] Mushkin 1tb MLC SSD back on sale $259.99

These have been as cheap as $249.99 before, and this was $274.99 a couple of days ago on Newegg.ca as their shell shocker sale. Combine this deal w/ 1% back from ebates and it's not a bad price.

And then it'll be 10TB and 12TB so just wait! If you need it, get it. this is a good price. Technology will always get cheaper, its a battle between how much you want it vs how much you wanna pay for it. I remember buying a 64mb USB for $60 that i still have, could've told myself just wait, 64gb sticks will go down to $10 soon! (in 12 years).

As I mentioned In their last thread on these, I bought one from newegg a few months ago for my iMac (2011) and it is working great. My computer feels like it's brand new, if not better. Highly recommended.

Free shipping, and 1% ebate, seemed pretty solid! Hope some people can take advantage of this.

8TB for triple is a great price. 8x space for 3x price that would make it $93.75/TB which would be amazing. Sarcasm didn't quite work out there for you.

Actually the 2/4TB was announced with no confirmed shipping date for $500 US ($125 USD or $162.5 approx which kills this 1TB) The 2TB announced same time without pricing but should be close.

Perhaps it is for people that need 8TB.

Most people don't need that much.

4TB SSD coming out this summer will be around 1200-1400

you have to wait for the tech to get cheaper and companies to bring down the price, as it pushes out the lower cap drives. 120gb are just now becoming obsolete.

Where are you pulling these numbers from?

Mushkin already announced the estimated pricing so it should stay within that range (500 USD/650 CAD) give or take a hundred

When it comes to computer tech, need and want are usually far apart.

I'm interested in the 2TB/4TB
