Just signed up, used my old portable MYFI XM2GO radio and it worked... hoping to keep the trial going every couple of months... does the radio ID eventually get black listed?

EDIT, just reread above that you have to wait a few months in between. Does it actually shut off at the 2 month date? I know in the past when people would cancel radios you'd hear how they kept going for months since XM did batch shutdowns???
I imagine that may have been myth since they can easily just end the service to the radio ID?
The first rule of RFD is, you do not talk about RFD.

The second rule of RFD is, you DO NOT talk about RFD.

Yep. Used to be able to renew the trial straight away. It now appears to be 6-8 months in between.
The last time this worked for me was early December 2017 which meant my trail ended early February 2017. I tried for a new trial a couple of weeks ago and no dice. In a few more weeks, it will be early August - over 6 months since my last trial ended. I'll report back on how that goes.

Exactly how mine works. Just got a new trial moments ago! 2 months on, 6 months off = 8 month cycle. Of course you can be off longer if you want your trail for some specific time of the year (eg. July/August). So my current trial will go to early October and although I should become re-eligible in early April 2018, I'll likely wait until late June/early July next year to have it for the summer.

Just to clarify, that is $20 CDN, with SiriusXM Canada, not USA, right?
Correct. $20.00 Canadian + Tax for SuriusXM Canada.

I just called (selected Cancellations) - the CSR said there was no 5 month offer (they are expired) and my previous 6 month $30 deal was an introductory offer that is only for new subscribers. Best he could offer was 6 months for $44.95.

I'll try calling this weekend - maybe better luck with a different CSR.
