Dunno about it being bankript but I have the 1350W and it works fine for me and I ordered a new set of toner a year ago from their office in Mississauga. I think its still there.
I was thinking of getting the 1400W since it is USB 2.0.

Hot? Konica Minolta PagePro Laser Printer (1400W) for 69.99
I'm in the market for a laser printer (i gave away my old slow hp 6l to my sister for uni) and this one came up in my research. I heard of konica minolta going bankrupt, is the price reflective of this?

Anyone have this printer, is it good? Specs seem to be better then similarily priced hps and such.

I've got one of those, does what I need it to do. They are usually on sale somewhere and look nicer than the minolta. I have to agree that it is loud though, but only for the few seconds it needs to print.

Review from the FutureShop Site
Hey guys... here are some posted reviews from the FS site:
Awesome, 8/8/2006
Reviewer: C, J.
When I saw this printer being advertised for such a great price I had to rush out to get it. At least if it didnt work out the way I thought it should, I could either take it back or throw it away, at that price. Im often intimidated when it comes to ensuring the installation is properly done, but this machine was as simple as possible. To keep a long story short, I have been TREMENDOUSLY satisfied with the performance of this small workhorse. I read where someone had an issue with the noise during warm-up, however, the noise has not been an issue for me, as I have it on my night stand in the bedroom and even start it up and print while my wife is sleep. I have been so pleased with the Page Pro 1400W that Im about to go and purchase the 2400W Colour Laser Printer, and expect nothing less than excellence in it as well, but, HUSH, my wife doesnt know.
Highly Recommended, 6/21/2006

I just bought this printer, and I'm amazed at how well it's working Installation was a breeze, and all the pages I've printed out so far have been of excellent quality and I have it on the lower resolution setting It's also incredibly fast I only have to wait just 10 seconds for the toner to heat up, but once it starts feeding the paper the job is done in less than a few seconds. For the price, I'd highly recommend this printer.

ya I ordered it last night, looking to pick it up today. Only certain locations ahve these printers in stock so good luck with the find!
At 70 bucks I can use it for a year or 2 (I dont print that many pages per a year) and throw it out.

I hope youre not being serious about throwing it out, these typesof things are very dangerous to the environment to be thrown out to the landfill.
I'd hope that you would either donate it to something like http://www.computersforschoolsontario.com/ a charitable organization that takes dropped off computers to be given to needy schools, and recycle those that can't be used to donate. Or pass it on to a family member. Maybe even sell it on RFD.
