On a $140 toys purchase? Try adding a $100 or more Toy purchase and see what happens.

Just my 2 cents - I would skip on these. My youngest was given one of the older Leappads for Christmas last year and it's awful. Not only is the hardware slow but the games/apps are extremely over priced (see link to the leappad store below):

I think you would be much better off if you got a cheap android tablet instead. There are way better learning apps, story books, and games for little ones for free or cheap in the android store.
