I would call their customer service line and get it adjusted. Then out of spite, go and show the manager the receipt afterwards.urkidn wrote: ↑Bought 2 pairs at FS today. They gave me the $69.97 price match but refused to give me the 10% price difference. Said the only time they give the price difference is when you actually purchase the item FIRST and then ask for an adjustment (and this was the manager). So much for their BS Price Beat Promise.

I had same problem yesterday in FS buying three pairs and paying $69.97+tax instead of $54+tax. The guy and the manager told me the same than they told to Urkidn but after left FS I called customer service line and I explained my situation so I came back in the night with my receipt and they gave me the good price $54 + tax... so happy for this deal, now I have two good presents for Christmas and one for me.

That's the online process. Buy first, call CSR to pm. Not sure why they are weasling at the store like that other than to cover losses.

To be honest, after listening to the UE 6000's (I assume the latest batch of them) with NC active, they sound okay. As reviews suggest, I've experienced contrary results in passive mode. Sounds like mud, mud under water.
Not sure what all the glitz is on these headphones is for, finding it very hard to like them.
Might be returning after only like 1hr of listening.
My Koss portapro that I bought from NCIX for $25.99 sounds alot better, and doesn't require batteries, and is more comfortable, albeit uglier.

The bass, sounds like mud, and just deep, but its not punchy at all. I feel so deceived with all the over glorified over hyped reviews. Unless Logitech changed the headphones to make them sound like mud!

Alright, so on my cell phone it sounded like mud.
On my dedicated sansa clip. It sounds much better in active mode, but then again my sansa makes everything sound awesome.. I dropped the bass in eq
Not sure what recipe is required to make these sound good.

The headphones sound fantastic on my Sansa Clip on passive mode.
Slight eq on the treble side makes for a nice balanced set of cans. Buy it if you have a great source, and great device to play it off of.

I'm using a Sansa Clip Zip with stock OS to power these and they sound phenomenal. The OS is stock and my EQ settings is in a V shape. I turn on the amp on the UE6000 to add more bass and highs. Depending on the music you listen too, they will sound very average if not below average compared to other headphones out there in the similar price rage. The UE6000 will outperform the competition with music with a lot of bass - hip hop, dance, dub step, trance, etc. I just downloaded 200 EDM Electronice Dance Music songs and each track is candy to my ears when using the UE6000.

Just about every device I plug these into work great: Acer netbook, FiiO E17 with E9 amp, iPod Classic 5th gen. The best bass so far is coming out of my UE6000 compare to my Audio Technica M50, Sennheiser Amperior, Beyer Dynamic DT880. The only headphone that beats it are my Ultrasone Pro 900s, the bass is looser and have more detail, the energy and resonance is enough to dislodge the wax out of your ears good. I have a pair of Sony XB500, the bass is tighter but they give me a headache because it hits too hard. The bass from the UE6000 is looser, it doesn't hurt and you can really make out the details in the lower frequencies (good bass). It also, has two acoustic chambers, so music with mid and highs (rock, pop, vocals) will sound half decent, while the other bass specific headphones sound like crap.
You might want to check the plug of your cable to your headphone. If it falls out to easily or if there is a gap between the base of the cable to the cup of the headphone, then you might need to give it a good twist and nudge to make sure it is secure. That was the only gripe I had until I found out that I wasn't using enough pressure when plugging it in.

Great tips, mine went in rather snug. It certainly didn't require more than 20lbs of pressure, but it was nice and snug. These sound pretty damn amazing off the Sansa Clip I have. The built in AMP is weird, it does something funny to the treble. Wow you have alot of cans! Good to know it does so well against all that opposition.
Im keeping my pair and trying to only feed it good sources. Will try the active mode later to see if I can enjoy it.
Do you EQ anything?
I notice that you have an amp as well, what does your particular amp improve? I don't intend to buy one, but I'm curious.

Certain headphones with high impedance will sound faint because the device will not have enough power to drive them, in my case the 600 ohm DT880's. Also, my laptop only provides so much power, so when I want to play my music loud, I go to the amp. Most built in sound cards are cheap and have limited shielding so you will hear a lot a noise along with your music. I output my music to a DAC (FIIO E17) to clean it up.
As for the Sansa Clip, I wouldn`t sell it short. It has a very high signal to noise ratio and it is in high demand by head-fiers, best $12 spent. I use a custom EQ for mine. It is V-shape that accentuates the bass and highs. But that is my preference relative to the equipment I use and the music I listen too.
I like using my UE6000 with my Sansa Clip Zip because they provide good sound quality on the go, keeps my ears warm in the cold, don`t have to worry about my cell phone batteries running out and no big loss in case I ever get robbed.
Hope you enjoy your cans. Always glad to help.

Just wanted to update and say I received my Future price beat refund 3 days after I ordered. Very impressive this time around, Future Shop.
Previously my price beat(s) took super long, like around 15 days.
My headphones are expected to arrive in the next day or so.

I have returned mine. Could not get over the constant tweaking of the EQ and weird amped signature. Sticking to my Koss Portapros.
