the thing is if he been reading posts for years and have never contributed and now finds a deal that is so odd even from wallyworld....he should know to post deals with proof or some form of proof....make life easy for everyone including himself....and now a days who dont have a scanner or a camera phone or a webby cam or even a digi cam? name one person that dont? lol everyfreaking human being has one or two or three...lol

most of the people i work with dont have any, most can barely use a computer, let alone a scanner/camera.

Why does he need to prove it, he says he got it, why shouldnt he be believed? if you think its a fake dont bother with it, itll be more for those who actually will take the 2-3 minutes to see if their local walmart has it for the price. Like i mentioned earlier its not like hes making money off this, if he were personally selling it than that would be a completely different story.

Since when did posting correctly include posting up a scan of a receipt? S/he got all the info you need which is, item name, price, place of purchase. If it ain't available in your area tough luck since you won't be able to price match it anyway.

A scan or picture would be nice to give people reassurance since this deal does seem to be "too good to be true". People always get suspicious of 1st time posters where the deal does not appear legit. Some proof would be nice but being called a liar is not warranted.

Anyways, Walmart has cleared games for 0.98c in the past. Just do a search. The problem is that the sale is not provincial or nation wide. These deals depend on the store and are almost impossible finds. If you are at Walmart anyways, go check it out. However, it's a waste of time going there specifically looking for it (unless, of course, you go to the same store as OP and he confirms additional copies). Due to the rarity, this is not really a deal to the general public. Therefore, it would be better if OP can confirm additional copies at the store it was purchased (for those that live in the area).

Actually my friend in Edmonton told me about this before I even saw this posted. He didn't mention which Walmart he was at, but it was likely the South Crossing location. He said they were by the electronics cashier.

I see this as one of three possibilities...

First, the OP is a cashier in the Electronics Department at Walmart. He probablly got Punk'd a few days ago by a fellow co-worker thanks to April Fools day and thought this would be a good way of getting back at his co-worker. So he leaves his shift for the day, comes home and posts so that everyone would rush to the Electronics department asking for this game. This in turn would tick off his associate for having to deal with a very large number of people coming up and asking him..."Do you have a PSP baseball game for $0.98?"

Does this game suck so bad that it's always on sale. I bought it months ago when TRU had their psp games for $14.97. I haven't opened it yet and have no desire to. I guess I got ripped off at that price. Oh well.

I remember not so long ago someone else got totally bashed for a Zellers deal in Thunderbay about PS2 and PSPs, and the poor guy didn't even get a chance to check the forums again to defent himself until much later on when everyone else was practically done bashing and probably put him on their ignore, well it's their loss
