i have this phone.. its not very loud imo and i noticed recently that theres a crackling sound on the ring tone when im calling someone

From using several brands of Cordless phones in the last few years, i will only use a panasonic for now on.
I wouldnt even touch this Motorola even if it was $0.19

What type of battery comes with this? NiMh? Anyone know? I have really poor quality phones that need to go back to Zellers as the battery isn't NiMh and they constantly go 'dead.'

Buy a panasonic and it will last years, without any hassles or having to use them as disposable trash.
