Yeah the most I used was 100MB... but that was because I tethered on purpose to try to fill up the 6GB cap... looks like I still had ~5900MB to go...
But now that I'm down to 500MB, I have to exercise caution with my Blackberry now. Can't tether and download everything in sight![]()

^ it isn't just $30 for 500 MB data.
It's like the $15 VP combined with 500 MB data, so if you were to put those two things together, it would total to $40 ($15/mo+$25/mo).
And on top of carryover credits that some people may have that effectively makes the data value package $20, it is absolutely perfect for some users (ie. me!)

man, no one remembers the 25mb data plan for $60?
no one should be complaining at all.
I think those guys with Iphones vs. Blackberrys are talking apples and oranges.
Blackberry compresses data, Iphone doesn't. Enough said.

Streaming audio is a biggy for me. If I had unlimited data, actually I do for a few months, I would stream it all the time but I dont due to the crappy 3G network right now. I prefer listening to commercial free radio and especially the comedy network on flycast. Last FM has music that I never heard of before as well.
For someone like me, I guess I probably should ditch the data plan and maybe get a portable satellite radio instead.
But, yeah, if you're disciplined, browse the web occasionally, play the odd youtube video, and check your email , you likely won't go over 500 MB in a month.

Oooooh yes. Very much indeed.
3G and WiFi suck about the same, maybe 3G a little bit less. When I get down to 10%, which is everyday...it's time to stop using the iPhone. The battery life on the iPhone for just receiving and making calls sucks, even when I switch to Edge to avoid the dropped calls or calls going directly to Voice Mail. This is currently a major problem on Rogers/Fido and likely not going to go away any time soon.
