this is not a bad deal but i just got yesterday a Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 320GB for $110 + tax from toronto chinatown. 5 year warranty. just a thought for those in the gta.

Guys, I don't know too much about computers, but If I bought this harddrive, would I be able to buy a housing for it and run it thru a usb port, similar to the external HD's????

Jul 25th, 2006 10:07 AM #10It could be a typo or it could not be a typo. I've seen BOXED HD's that were 200 gigs that were ATA 100 instead of ATA 133! Just means it's slower:

Jul 25th, 2006 10:10 AM #11Nope ... Seagate has always been ATA100 ... Don't worry, ATA133 does not make any performance difference in real-life. The maximum throughput of today's HD is far far below of 100MB/s.
