HOT TV Deals at London Drugs! (Boxing day type pricing!!!)

I was at a London Drugs downtown Vancouver yesterday at closing time and one of the fellows said to come in Saturday morning for 2 days of what he calls "HOT DEALS" that were "below cost" Boxing Day type deals.
He told me he couldn't tell me the pricing because they aren't allowed to reveal these special in-store prices until Saturday when they open.

So naturally I jotted all the model #'s for my fellow RFD's who live in downtown Vancouver :)

Samsung 22” Model # LN22D450
Samsung 32” Model # LN32D450

Sony 40” Model # KDL40EX620
Sony 46” Model # KDL46EX620

Samsung 46” LED Model # UN46D6500
(With SAMSUNG 3D Shrek Starter Kit and Skype Hi-def Camera)

The only other deals he mentioned that were blistering hot where the
Sony Blu-ray player model #BDPS380 and some Harmon Kardon Receiver model #AVR1565 and some other stuff i ran out of time to jot down (he got busy with another customer).

I'm not sure if this is a hot deal considering there are no prices to go with your post

Its soo hot of a deal you name your own prices based off of "fair value for the model".

I don't think it can be considered hot deal, but it's cool to get a heads up.
Considering how low tv price got at London Drugs (Panasonic 1080P plasma for $699), I have a good feeling about this.

OP, was this supposed to be store-specific or chain-wide? I'm presuming you're talking about the Georgia and Granville LD?

Considering that you don't know the prices of anything, how can you claim that this is a hot deal?!

You'd think that someone who has been on the system and posted 112 times would at least offer more then just some model numbers ...

I called up the local LD and asked about the Samsung 32” Model # LN32D450. They told me 299.99, down from the 399.99 posted on their website. I didn't ask about the other models.

FAIL thread, how is in the world this a hot deal if you can't even tell us the prices of the TV;s? what if they are not even hot deals lolz.

You need to actually have a price of something before you say it's a hot deal because there is NO proof that this is a hot deal.

Called and they said for the 40' Sony it's $800. IMO, not such a hot deal considering Bestbuy is selling for $900.

Any thoughts?

Below cost doesn't actually mean much, I get told this by staff all the time. It's below cost before you factor in the rebates that they get from the manufacturers.

There is a good deal on some TV, somewhere in Canada right now. Just thought I would add to this thread. Maybe I should make my own thread.

I dunno, 720p, 60hz -- I know the 720p shouldn't matter at this screen size, but should I concern myself with the 60hz? I needed to get something this size for the parents' den.
