Hotel Recommendation In San Diego, CA
I'm treating my family to a trip to San Diego, CA.
After browsing through expedia, travelocity, hotels.ca, i'm so lost on where to stay.
We don't know what we want to be near, but want the best experience possible.
I honestly have no idea what a good place to stay is, any of you been there and would like to suggest some places?

Like a resort, and minutes from the Zoo and Sea World.

depends on where you want to go..
tourists usually stay in La Jolla and downtown
When I worked in San Deigo, the company got me into http://www.marriott.com/hotels/trave...rrento-valley/
and
http://www.marriott.com/hotels/trave...iego-la-jolla/
pretty good, IMO
if you are renting a car.. it's much more flexible..
it's very easy to drive in San Diego..
let me know where you want to go, maybe I can help you out..

Marriott Gas Lamp
I was in San Diego in April and booked Marriott Gas Lamp. It is a refurbished hotel but it is very nice and excellent location. Omni is also nice and about 1 block away. Marriott is across street from their new baseball park. You can go up to the 20 or 21st floor bar and watch the game (clear view of in field).
Got hotel thru priceline (name your price) and got $100 US plus taxes/fees for about $119 total. Normal rates are $200 and up. Excellent helpful staff. Only thing I didn't like was the $26 valet parking. You can park across the street for less.

I got the Omni San Diego on Priceline for $100 and it's the nicest hotel I've ever stayed in. Everything seemed to be designed for the guest's comfort. One thing to watch out for is the rooms which have a door between them as they can get a bit noisy.
The garage across the street was $16.
