What’s the average rate for a house in North York? How long would it take to clean a 3 bedroom 1400 sq ft house?

In Manitoba, the going rate for a good cleaner is $25-$30/ hour. Most houses end up costing $70-$90 for a regular cleaning. If you're looking for a one time only cleaning, rates will be higher. I don't know about rates in North York but imagine they'd be comparable.

I've never done a business plan for my cleaning business but I chose it because although it's hard work physically, it allows you to make a good hourly rate and have a flexible schedule. Also, the overhead costs for getting started are quite low. Average rate per hour in MB is $25-$30. Hope this info helps.

I'd like to find a person that does eco cleaning, ie no commercial cleaners, just cleaning like my grandma used to do - vinegar, borax, baking soda, washing soda and combos of them, etc. They cleaned just as well as the toxic crap foisted upon us now.

Hi there

If you open a cleaning business as sole proprietorship, are you able to hire people to help you if you have a big job and are you able to use the labor that you pay as an expense so you pay less taxes?

Thanks
