How to burn a CD
Well, i decided finally to get some blank CD's and burn some music on it.
I used itunes to burn music on a CD, and got around 19 .mp3 files on it. Its a 700mb CD though..so im wondering why only 19 5mb files
Also a friend of mine said to use NERO rather than itunes, anyone know why NERO is better?
or any other software that is better at it?

That's because you're burning it as an audio CD (.cda files) rather than an mp3 CD. The .cda files are a lot bigger because they are supposed to be lossless and uncompressed. However, since you're burning them from already compressed mp3's, your audio CD's quality will only be as good as your mp3's.

In MP3 format, burn a data cd and it will hold a lot. This CD will only play
in a device that plays MP3's
When you make a Audio CD, The program(nero-itunes) converts them back to the original size 50mb per song approx._______________

You like puting people down and being arrogant?
Well how about your statement then?
Nero will make whatever you tell it to make, including a CD containing mp3's.
To OP, yes you can use Nero, it's probably better than iTunes for burning CD's, just start with the wizzard and you should be fine.

In iTunes, select the preferences command under the Edit Menu.
Then select the Advanced tab.
The select the Bruning sub-tab.
Your three disc format options are there.
One problem I have with burning MP3 discs with iTunes is that the program numbers the files. This takes up more room on the file name and using up valuable display space on my car CD display. I would like to find a way to avoid the numbering. My CD player numbers my tracks already by default.
