Yikes!
Wolf Spiders are huge!

those wolf spiders i think they are called that are very common are huge..
I think they live in the garage and make their way into the house somehow.
one was living in my recycling box thing. they are like the size of all the 1-9 keys on the right of the keyboard..
other spiders are okay though

ok, i like spiders. yes, there must be something wrong with me but i really like them. in fact, whenever my mom is about to swat one, i cup them in my hand and throw them outside....well perhaps not the wolf spider. but you never know, we've never had one in the house before

I hate spiders...I've had a fear of them ever since taking a shower at my aunt's house in St. Petersburg Florida when I was around 6 years old.
Was in the bathtub and saw something move in the corner of my eye. IT WAS A FREAKING TARANTULA!!!! Wasn't any bigger than a golf ball...BUT STILL!!! IT WAS A TARATULA!!! HAIRY AND ALL!!!!
EWWW....i'm getting shivers just thinking about that and this thread.....yuck...

Mar 31st, 2003 01:10 AM #38spider-man.Hmm, extra protein in the diet. If you are lucky to get a radioactive one you can turn into Spiderman...........Useless fact of the day: We swallow on average 11 spiders a year :? ...they crawl into our mouths because it's moist and warm
sorry, couldn't resist.
I remember a few years ago I was watching TV in the basement with lights out. I thought I saw something moving along the wall behnid the TV. I flipped on the lights and holy S**T! It was a huge black spider, with the biggest body that I'd ever seen. It took me a good hour before I got over it.
Two weeks later, saw it again. Took some isopropynol and drowned the bastard.
But millipedes, or whatever those things are with the sectional bodies, pinchers, and hella long legs. Those things scare the crap out of me.

I HATE SPIDERS!!!
The main floor of my house seems to be a magnet for them. I still get freaked out everytime I see them. Maybe because they seem to appear in the strangest and most unassuming places. I always catch them in a container, toss'em into the toilet, and FLUSH!!!
I just caught a nasty 2 inch (body+legs) wolf spider last week dangling down from a light fixture in my living room. I was sitting on the couch when I notice this freaky thing coming into my line of sight of the TV. Ahhh!!
Even worst was last year. I woke up around 2am to use the washroom. As I was relieving myself, I glanced in the mirror and saw a big honking hairy 2-3 inch spider on the wall right behind me. Yikes!! Let's just say I had to wipe up the bowl and floor area after that.
