How to convert a movie to series of image frames
Can anyone recommend an EASY program for converting a movie (i.e. *.avi) to a series of still image frames (i.e. *.tif)?

I believe Virtualdub will convert to either .tiff or .mjpeg..

YVW and TY
In a worst case, you could just download Sony Vegas off their website and use that. It's a 30day trial, full functionality. To get past the 30day restriction just delete the associated registry file.

Can always batch convert all the .jpg/.bmps to tiff afterwards.

I'm not sure if such a thing exists, therefore I seek the help of RFD video gurus

A little known capability is Photoshop can pull in video, each frame can be saved out whatever format.
