How do I get a bumper cover matching my car's color online

I am planning to order a front bumper cover for my car from Rockauto.com.

While I have found the part, I am not sure how to specify the color. The item entry says "Primed; Customer Paints to Match". I am not sure what it means.

Thanks.

Check the paint color code written on the side of the driver's side door.

You need to have it painted when you get the part. Bring it to an auto body shop, they can colour match via VIN

Means the bumper is prepped for paint. It doesn't come painted with a base coat (your car colour). Primed means there's primer on it (the layer of paint below the colour coat that helps the colour coat adhere better).

How much would it cost get the bumper painted?

Also, could you please suggest a few body shops in Mississauga?

Thanks

Don't know about spots in Mississauga, but any reputable shop can do it. I had a mirror housing painted, was almost $100, so you are probably looking at $350-$500.

Are you just bringing the bumper in to be painted? If so you will save on labour cost for re and re. I would expect the cost to be in the $300 range.

If you supply the bumper primed and prep'd, then the price should be lower as they would be saving a lot of work. However, most places may not warranty the work as they would say that they don't know who well it was primed and prep'd so they can't say if the paint will stick over the long term.
