How do people get wholesale connections?

Like some people selling things at such low prices you wonder where they get their deals from. I mean, it's a little crazy how cheap they are getting some of the things and even crazier how cheap they're selling it. Like that guy selling the iPod Video for 300, what was up with that? How do people get connections like that?!

LOL, no really, how do some people just end up knowing these people who can get them these amazing deals with companies? I wouldn't mind a wholesale connection with a cell phone provider.

knowing a manager, sleeping with a CEO...lol. I think just knowing the right people is the key to getting wholesale deals. That's how those *********s off Howardforums get their phones for wholesale...knowing a supplier personally and buying in large, large quantities.

Most of the people (not all) selling cheap computer stuff either work at a computer store or write for a review site which is why they can sell almost brand new things for so cheap.

Most of the people (not all) selling cheap computer stuff either work at a computer store or write for a review site which is why they can sell almost brand new things for so cheap.

its plain and simply that quote right there...becuz i work in the automobile sector i know tons of wholesalers as well as connections for car parts and etc, but at the same time i get a lot of customers that come in and give me their business cards or whatever and then we get to talkin and there u go another connection for something else, whether it be for "toys, cell phones, radio's...or anything".

its all about communicating and getting known to people, where the connections take place.

take a vacation to China. Talk to some government people and find out where the factories are.
Then talk to the factory owners and work out a importing deal.
