How do you stick the stuff on front dash board

I saw people sticking decoration on their front dash board.
Does any RFDs know what they use, so it would not left a mark when you remove the sticker or tape. At least, those stick can suvrive in this summer?

I find those double side stick is so easy fall off.

I would also like to know too, I have a Hawaiian Hula dancer all ready for my dash but don't want the risk of it ripping off a layer of the dash when I decide to take it off.

have you tried those 3M sticky thingies.....the one where u use to stick hooks onto the wall for hanging up stuff?
