How do you wash your car?
If you go to the carwash press the back button immediately.
If you hand wash it, stick around and lemme know what you use/how you wash.
Im especially interested in removing spots after washing. I tried mr. clean, California water blade, and towels.

Thats a pretty rude thing to say.
I know many, many wealthy people who ONLY hand wash.
And the wealthiest ones, don't drive through the car wash they take it to a detailing shop to have it hand washed.
Most high pressure car washes will, in time will wear away at your paint (if you care about your car?)
I usually hand wash myself, maybe I'm not as well off as you are, if you're telling me I'm poor, but I don't mind to spend 20 minutes to hand wash my car, my car comes out a lot cleaner than you driving through the wash 3 times, does not spot, and I actually like seeing my car clean as I do try to take pride in my car.
I try to wash it at least once a week, but sometimes I can't lie when I get lazy I go to the drive through too.

I know the OP doesn't want to hear from me, but I think my question is a perfect fit for this thread.
I only use the no contact (touchless?) car wash at Ultramar. I love it. I get no scratches and it does a great cleaning job. With my last car, I was poor (kidding) and I only did hand washes in the driveway. What I found then was a lot more teeny tiny micro scratches and much more difficulty getting dead bugs off after a roadtrip.
So what's wrong with a no touch car wash?

b/c you're not doign it properly...
self washing requires a lot of knowledge... or u'r just scratching your paint..
im pretty certain 80% people aren't doing it properly.. creating swirls, improper waxing... hell, i doubt i am doing it perfectly too...
this is why detailing place charge over 100$ to wash your car...

I only hand wash my car - I am poor. I am actually a total newb in hand washing car, so I am not able to provide and advice. It's just that I feel that the car is "cleaner" when i wash the car myself.
However, if I really need a quick wash, I would do a rail-less + touch-less ones (Shell).
