How to Earn Air Miles from your Tuition Payment
Tuition can be one of the biggest expenses for students, so we might as well try to collect some rewards points while we pay. But, universities do NOT accept credit cards. Here is an alternative option:
Pay for your tuition using BMO Interac Online. BMO Interac gives you 1 Air Mile per $40 spent. As an example, 200 Air miles gets you a $25 gift card from HBC. So, if you pay $8000 tuition, you can get $25 back. Better than nothing...
Does anyone know of any other debit cards that have rewards attached to them?

That's a great suggestion OP. Too bad I already paid for this year. Also, the above poster is correct in that some schools accept credit cards.
There's also the Scotiabank Visa that gives Scene points for Cineplex.
Also slightly off topic, I believe OSAP will take Visa._______________

My university recently stopped accepting credit cards for payments, to my great annoyance. I'm now forced to pay by debit for meager Air Miles (1/$40). However, I've always wondered, do you still get Air Miles for Interac Online purchases?

All 4 years at UWO, I've paid my tuition with my MBNA 1% cashback MC ....
Last year, they had a 2% promo, so I squeezed $100+ out of them
Sure worth more then 20-25 lousy AMs.
If you are that desperate to earn 20AMs, Rexall has an offer this week where if you spend $25 on Gillette products, you get the AM's
