How to find the last minute ticket

I searched most the online booking website, like expeida, but still can't find any last minute ticket. I have no job and can take off anytime. A lot of stories about the last minute ticket are unbelieveable cheap. But have no clue where to find it...(maybe phone the airline company directly)

Last minute airline tickets are hard to find on the internet in Canada.

Last minute package vacations on the other hand. . .
I suggest travel222.com . Has the best prices of any that I've seen, and that's a lot (100+). I found a 8 night trip leaving from ottawa to puerto plata on the 5th of march that costs $1345 for two people after taxes.

If you click on the "Selloff Airfares" link and then the "Charter Airlines" you can get great last-minute deals on airfares. Also note that you do not have to buy from them, any travel agent can access those fares, so if for some reason you don't want to book through selloffvacations.com you can use your own travel agent.
