How to find matching deck plate for replacing centerset with a single-handle Faucet

Got three holes, 4" wide for my old Kholer centersets
Replacing with Grohe single-handles
Where do I find matching deck plates?
Cannot find any from local stores
Does it have to be a specific Grohe model?

If no, how can I measure & match a generic plate?

You wont. If the faucet doesent come with it then it wasn’t meant to be installed that way.
You’re better off buying one that comes with the optional plate.
AFAIK they don’t make or sell generic 4” centre plates.
Everything has been said before, but since nobody listens we have to keep going back and beginning all over again. - Andre Gide
