How to get a free HD PVR from Rogers
I thought I would pass this along to new or existing Rogers customers.
Last month I talked to customer relations at Rogers and told them that Bell offered me a HD PVR for 2 years at no charge, they put me on hold and when they came back they said they would match it. I had the new box installed the next morning. The next day I told my brother about it, who is an existing Rogers customer, and he asked me if i could do it for him as well. Picked up the phone and in under a minute, he got the HD PVR as well.
Cheers

My brother ho was an existing customer didn't have to change anything. His cable quality improved quite a bit since his old Rogers box was really old.
As far as scheduling anything, they come over and take the pvr out of the box and show you how to hook it up. If you want they will do it for you, however, it takes about 2 minutes to do. If you have more than 1 TV like I do, i just use the basic cable out of the wall for our bedroom and the HD PVR in our family room.
Hope this helps.

You need Digital Cable package minimum. Some HD channels are included, but for others there's an additional $5/month charge.
New installations always require a tech to come out.

Since I was a new customer they sent a guy to my house. My brother(an existing cust.) just went to the nearest rogers store and exchanged his(after getting the deal on the phone with customer relations).
