I didn't get a receipt from the seller until 8 days after purchase & payment, so I don't know when he processed it...but I was able to change the address 18 days after purchase, 10 days after receiving the receipt which said "we will be submitting your subscription order...in the next few days."

I don't think sending it to Ontario, California will make them reroute it to Ontario, Canada.

You just need to log in using the US address you signed up with. If the website can't find it, that means your account hasn't been started yet...just wait. Once the account has been started, you can login using the US address and change it to your Canadian address.

I've done this successfully for 8 magazines so far...but still waiting to receive the first issue.

I had 21 issues listed in that account before i switched to Can addr.

Oh yeah. I had a Maxim subscription that I used a fake last name with and about a month after my first issue I had a bunch of juke mail coming to me every month.

Oh well, its the price you pay for free magazines.

its good we use those addy switches then,
technically the hotel will get spam in our names lol.

u may notice mags like EGM, the company asks if u want offers from their company and others sent to u
i believe thats electronic but its mindfull to set that to only talk to me about my sub only

I was able to change the address on my FHM subscription today - after 4.5 weeks. This was part of the Maxim/Stuff/FHM pack from eBay...changed Maxim & Stuff after 3 weeks.

they usually auto stack.
my EGMs tacked to 56.
i had 21, and i cahnged addy when i finished all my other subs had registered and auto sacked/durring the change addy process

Id probably stick with the free ones only as there have been a few that this hasnt worked for me. Sports Illustrated was one that I can think of that didnt work to change the address. Although I guess if all you are paying is a couple of bucks it's not a bad risk.

What was the issue with Sports Illustrated not working? Their subscriber login page seems to support Canadian addresses.

I wonder if this applies to other Time Inc. magazines like Time or People. I'm interested in getting Time from eBay for $9.
