How to hook up a third monitor into my GPU?
Hey guys, just got a third monitor and I'm having a little trouble figuring out how to connect it
Here is a picture of the back of my GPU:

I have both DVI ports used for both of my current monitors, I'm left with the HDMI and 2 mini display ports
How would I go about hooking up a third monitor that DOES NOT have a display port?
Thanks in advance to anyone who takes the time to help me out

Well here's a idea.
Use a HDMI to DVI converter. Then you have THREE dvi connectors. Here's a picture of what I am talking about.
edit: there is a tiny downside to this though. I am using this at home and the dvi connector, due to gravity, starts to go down instead of being level. So I need to have the system pushed up very close to the wall.

Use an 'active' mini-displayport->DVI cable. Doesn't matter which DP you use.

You have to use one of the DisplayPorts and an adapter if none of your monitors has a DP. That's how most AMD cards work.

That's the same idea I had.

The DVI (HDMI included) output alone isn't capable of pushing enough bandwidth for triple full-resolution displays so the only way to do HDMI -> DVI would be to use a lower resolution, as far as I know. This is why ATi started using DP to push additional clock streams.

Something like this. There are two onboard clocks on the card, allowing you to do 2 HDMI / DVI outputs. That's why an Active DP -> HDMI connector is required, because that dongle has an additional clock embedded within. Not a bandwidth issue, but a clock / timing issue. I believe it's not possible to use more than 2 displays without additional clocks, regardless of what resolution you're at.

one of the monitors MUST use display port for eyefinity to work properly.
