If you do a google search for "Combined Insurance Job Scam" you will find some info. Based on what I read, it apparently is a legitimate job, however there are some complaints. It does appear to be a sales job so some might do very well but there are many who aren't suited to that type of job.

Manager Trainee is probably a nice term for one of those Primerica type organizations. They will probably ask you to join the company, and if you do well, then become a lead (Manager) in a certain geographic area, and recruit more people (Trainee)to sell insurance to others. Therefore, you become a Manager Trainee

"Independent Contractors"
It's a sales job where your paid only on comission probably. If you like sales and going door to door harassing people sure, otherwise stay away. They are one of those 'spray and pray' companies that post ads everywhere and will take anyone since they don't have to pay them anything unless they make a sale anyways.
