I have purchased a Philips DVD player from Warmart.
I have alot of those crack DVDs that I purchased from Pacific Mall (:P).
I can't read those DVDs anymore.
Is there anyway I can "unlock" those settings, so my DVD can read all DVD discs?

those dvds at pmall aren't region protected as far as i know....

Your POS Philips probably doesn't support SVCD.
