Pint = 20oz
Can of beer = 12oz
Bottle of beer = just less then 12 (around 11.5oz)

So a pint is approx 1 & 3/4 bottles of beer. Although if poured correctly it will actuall be less because a typical pint is a 20oz glass but an 18oz pour.

Happy drinking

its actually 16.9oz

And i don't think he was actually asking about the "pint" unit of measurement but about what people in bars refer to as a "pint glass" as opposed to a "sleeve". Pint glasses are typically 19-20oz in size although they if poured correctly only have 17-18oz of beer in the glass.

Depends on the brand but yes most domestic bottled beers are 341ml.

Brahma from Brazil is 355ml and some other imports are only 330ml

As you may have figured out from the posts above, an American pint is significantly different from an imperial (UK/Can) pint. Google the history if you want...

But here in Canada, a pint is 20oz. A bottle of beer is 12 or so oz...you do the math.

Two eight oz. cups = One 16 oz pint , 2 pints = One 32 oz quart , 4 quarts = one 128 oz Gallon.

I know they use to sell beer in quarts , and probably in pints too.

Its most likely term that's been carried over from when they changed 16 oz bottels to 12 oz . Terms like mind your P's &Q's , pints and quarts
