Not sure what you mean by TC series?
We have an electric stove and cook/bake several times a week.
This includes some AC use as well (for the summer months), mostly only during the nights.
I think what helps is that we turn off or unplug pretty much everything in the house when not in use.
We both work 9-5 and turn everything off during the day.
Pretty much same. But dont switch off Rogers boxes and PC. I am still surprised.

I average about 31 kwh per day in my brand new (6 months old), Energuide 85 rated house. 1100 sq ft (one level - bungalow) with an unfinished basement.
Everything is electric.. heat, hot water, heat pump. All CFL bulbs, brand new appliances.
I felt bad seeing some of the posts showing much lower consumption, but then I realized that not all of them are using electricity/hydro for everything. Heating your water and house with oil/gas/wood will severely impact the amount of electricity you use each day.
I figure I can get it down to about 25 or 26 kwh with a few tweaks (adjust computer power settings, get rid of PVR, less dishwasher usage, etc).

That is true, my enbridge bills probably add up to more than my electricity usage. But they still aren't bad, barely tipping over $100/mth in the winter.

Off grid
We average 3.5 kw per day. With 1500 sq' home, gas hot h2o and wood stove. The house operates like any other we all the modern amenities of any home. We use led lighting throughout and power bars on our computers and tv's. Solar and wind ROCK!!

For comparison with Manitoba Hydro, we were billed a grand total of $46.13 in a period of using 505 kWh (but don't worry people here still complain about electricity rates being too high).
Daily averages for our family of 4 (young couple, toddler and baby), in Winnipeg.
Jan 20 kwh per day
Dec 25
Nov 21
Oct 19
Sep 18
August 9
July 11
Jun 16
May 18
April 22
March 25
Feb 53 (we were using portable space heaters last winter in addition to the main gas heating, we added tons of insulation in time for this winter so we don't need them anymore)
We don't have AC unlike almost everyone so our summer time power is low because we hang some clothes to dry in the summer. We also have CFL bulbs in all possible sockets and a few LEDs, and energy star front loading washer and dryer. The hot water tank is electric and quite new too.

Bill
I just paid my 2 month Veridian bill Ontario $167
We have a house full of kids all day so we are not trying to trim to much, im sure light are on etc when not needed.
Dont forget we have TOU Time Of Use in Ontario were rates peak
for a reference for you
Winter period November 1 to May 1
TOU 3 tiered rates
7 am to 11 am
3 to 7pm Peak house approx 10.80c kwh
11 - 3 pm mid peak 9.20 c kwh
7 pm to 7 am and weekends off peak 6.20 c kwh
I may be off on the times but before work and after work are considered the peak hours until May 1
Summer hours from May 1 to Nov 1
7am to 11 am Mid peak
11 am to 4 pm peak period
4pm to 7 pm mid peak
peak period is middle of the day were A/C is used most
again 7pm to 7 am and weekends are off peak .
Summer rates wont post until close to may 1 But every year they have gone up..
They used to have a appliance calculator on the hydroone web site , not sure its still there but you could choose various appliances and it would calculate the potential costs if you were a HydroOne customer. There bills are a little higher on average
Hope this helps
