I try to use cash for all my eating out and small spending habits, it allows me to track things a bit better and make me actually realize the cost of things.
ie: for some reason if i give away a $20 bill it seems like a lot more than charging $20 to my visa.
I'm aiming for $100 a week or so spending cash, maybe less.

How much cash do you carry in your wallet?
How much do you generally carry cash wit you. Obviously when you carrying too much cash , you will be losing interest on it but we still need cash to buy the small things or do you always use cards.
and if you do carry cash, how regular do you take more out, do you take more out when you have none or when you hit a certain level of cash.

usually no more than a 100 at any given time, which gets whittled down during the week. Usually never less than 20.
If I'm going out downtown or something, I carry more.
I try to use zero debit/credit so everything is cash. (I don't care about credit cards that have rebates. Rather just not use cc's)._______________

I always have at least $20. This would pay for a cab ride home from pretty much anywhere I'd be.

I usually try to carry $100+ in my wallet.
This way, I have enough for almost all my purchases (restaurants, etc..) if debit/credit don't work.

Right now $445, but i just went to the bank the other day. I usually carry a few hundred bucks.
The bank doesn't pay any interest worth worrying about, so that is a moot point.

I usually only carry around $20 in cash...use this to pay at small convenience stores or Timmies. If I have to buy gas I also pay in cash. All other purchases debit/credit.

I wish i had a bank machine at home lol

$100 every other week for me. That covers any unexpected meetups and incidentals I may come across.
Everything else is put towards savings and bills, as well as planned purchases.
