How much do ppl @ Staples get paid?? (Recievers/inventory control)

Anyone know how much people @ staples get paid?
Not sales associate...
B/c im applying for
Shipping Reciver
Inventory Control Specialist.

Currenty i work @ their competitor *gasp* grand and toy as a inventory control clerk\shipping reciever. They pay me $9.75/hr. Pretty good... Very chillin job. 30 hrs a week 4 days a week so it gives me alot of time for school. & my other activities.

I was wondering if i would make the same or more.
Another thing... woudl they give me weird looks since i do currently work @ their competitor? Or would they welcome me knowing i have alot of office supply inventory controling expirience?

I don't think that would be a problem, as long as you don't work both jobs.. it's a conflict of interest. Definately a asset with previous experience in the same field.

not sure about stooples pay but I'm gonna guess its less than the 9.75 you're already getting.

I wouldn't recommend that job, after all, I just recently dumped my frustration on one person doing this job...

Oh man...I gotta stop getting drunk before coming on this forum

I saw "How much do Staples ppl get laid?"

But seriously, not worth it, there is always so much work to do there and often you will de doing overtime *and as a full time employee you can't even punch in or out so overtime will not be compensated*. Also its always that guy that gets blamed when stuff goes missing. It's gonna be your responsability to make sure the 2,000$ machines are delivered to the right people.

Trust me, if its chill right now at Grand & Toys, stay there! Nothing but pain and suffering as a Staples Receiver, during my 2 years there we'd gone through 4 different receivers! They all eventually quit.

P.S. you hardly spend time on the floor with the clients, you might cross a few on the way back to the back of the store.
Everyone's out to screw you over....now that's positive thinking! :)

Thanks for warning me.
Grand and toy is like a mini staples.
a mini-mini staples....

Im surprised @ how well grand and toy treats its employees since its only a retail place. I thought staples might have been better b/c they are so big.

Anyways.. im gonna apply for part time sales then.
That way after a while i can get some discounts. ill jsut give away all my shifts to needy high school kids that want extra bucks.

everyone apply! job fair dec 1st, 10am-7am @ gerrard Sqare (Pape and Gerrard)

new staples opening up.
they have positions for everything from sales to managers.

No problem!

I believe that the bigger a company gets, the more is loses sight of the people that helped build it.

I say you apply as a manager, stay there a week and restore the 150% PM and let everyone do it and then quit :cheesygri

I'm gone RFD! Staple…
How could you possibly want to join the hellhole I work for?! :)

I'm a part timer there, a good one at that, I don't mean to brag but in terms of sales I've beaten full timers for a few months. But I feel like I'm treated like crap there... I know I don't, but I feel like I don't get what I should deserve.

And I'm at the top of my game, I'm wondering what the "useless" (phrase coined by my Sales Manager himself when speaking about the others with me privately) employees there feel like.

Now I only work 1 shift a week, even though my managers protested. I don't give a crap, I hate this place... so the next time you all see a Staples employee acting b****y don't go too hard on them. They don't want to be there anymore than you do.
