How much do you use Facebook now compared to last year?

Just wondering if Facebook is really on the decline, or if it's just my misperception.

I agree - Facebook is on the decline. The hype is slowly cooling off.

I remember 5 years ago, when friendster shows up, everybody goes crazy about it and nobody goes on it nowadays.

I only go on facebook when I get email notification about event invitation or request to add friends

A lot lot less. I got tired quickly with all my narcissistic "friends". I just use it for games now.

I thought it was a nice way to keep touch with friends until they allowed the use of applications. Once that annoying crap came out I pretty much stopped.

Another annoyance was people I haven't spoken to in years and probably won't be speaking to them in many more years to come asking to add me as their friend to boost their numbers.

hardly get any news feed stuff now, as people rarely post now. I personally don't like posting stuff.

People still do that? Ugh, I didn't know friends list padding still exists. I have the same problem, but with MSN. Too many people added over the years, so many I don't even talk to. Facebook must just make this thing like 10 times worse.

+1 I never really used it other then to creep on old high school classmates. After a few days of creeping I am done.

God...friend padding is sooo annoying and such a childish thing to do!

I don't use Facebook anymore. Haven't used it for over a year now. I like my privacy, thank you very much!

I hate Facebook with a passion. I joined when it first started and was only open to university students...and I quit after a few months. They make you jump through extraordinary hoops just to permanently delete your account.

Anyways, I've lived without it through the hype, and I'm definitely glad I did. And in my opinion, Twitter is even worse.

As of this post 27% don't have Facebook accounts.

I am actually quite shocked on that.
