How much gas do I have left?!
I think the gas gauge is busted in my car! It hasn't gone down in two days of driving, and I just filled $40. Hasn't budged. Is there any way to tell roughly how much gas I have left? Just need a temp solution, anything is better then not knowing at all

Use the trip odometer!
Fill it up, and you should get at least 300kms a tank!

GM car? some (all?) of them have notoriously inaccurate fuel gauges. One could argue they're almost digital, as you go from full to empty in less than half the kilometers you get per tank (it will indicate full at all other times). I'm not sure if that has changed in recent years.

My gas gauge is also busted.
My solution is always filling the tank full.
Then, use:
1. odometer
2. the car comes with a meter telling me how much gas was used. I start to consider filling up when it says it uses 70L.

like those digi gauges that tells you L/100k and L/empty kind of thing? My Volvo has one of those. Do you know where I could purchase one?
