how much money have you lost to scams.ect
wondering how much everyone lost between 2005/2006
scams. stupidness. gambeling ect
lost
$1400 (shipment of ipods got scamed)
$500 lcd light stop working
$100 used ipod i bought stop working after a few months.
well thats how much i lost.
i regret the scam the most since it was alot of money.

Between 2005/2006 .. I lost maybe 50$ on lottery tickets.

$7000 lent to mom in '01 (yet to get back)
$4000 lent away to friend on '03 (in the process of getting back, in court)
$3200 lent away to friend on '04 to get him out of CC debt (yet to get back)
$500 lent away to Best friend '04 (for his car ins. renewal) (yet to get back)
$850 (in '06 (for a to fixing brakes on my car, i think i got ripped off (i would of settled for 300-400 price tag but oh well)

Moral of this story.................... Do not lend any friends any money whatsoever.

Nothing this year but 10 years ago we got taken in Cancun Mexico ... the taxi guy charged us $7 for a ride that I am sure wasn't worth anymore than about $2 or $3.

About $500 on some online investment site. Guy ran away, couldn't get a hold of him.

i havent been scammed but...
My bf gets scammed by his customers all the time he got scammed out of $1000 last month. he has lost about $10000 to Non paying customers.

lost $1400 through a friend. decieded too run off with my money. he ran pretty far. all the way back to hk. well the $1400 was split between 3 other friend since i was running a electronic store.
i learned one thing. always recive the item first or dont buy it

$0, but I nearly lost $5 at McDonald's 4 weeks ago. I was getting the now replaced McDeal menu for $3.99, paid with a $10 and only got back 70 cents from the $5. I was like, this isn't the correct change then the lady looked at me for about two minutes and then realized she forgot to give me my $5. That type of crap acctually happens all the time, they forget a few cents here a dollar there, but I always catch them. I heard some local places can do this on purpose and pretend they forgot...
