you do know the bill includes Hydro AND water right?
This is my first house and the first time I have actually had to pay for utilities (gotta love all inclusive rent). I just assumed that water/sewer was included in everyone's hydro bill when I was asking around how much everyone paid, which is why I thought my bills were quite high. I guess that makes sense and $94.52 isn't that bad.

No water meter here, water treatment here is quite cheap so it's just trown into city taxes

Just got my first bill yesterday, it is $185 for the month but that includes a $30 set up fee. It includes electricity and water and is inline with what I used to pay at my old house.

I live in a larger house now and only turned on the Ac a few times in the summer. There were days where it was scorching hot inside and I was didn't turn it on until I saw the thermostat say it was 32 degrees lol.

With ALL THAT server equipment, that's ridiculously low, no?

Your figure doesn't seem that different than many people I know with a basic detached home, without the kind of tech you run!

Even I was surprised. Either that I rolled over the meter...
50kWh/day is like 2000W constant which honestly isn't that bad considering one server is like 1/2 of that.
Apparently the rest of my house is ultra energy efficient even though I leave a bunch of lights on all the time.

We've gone from 25-28 kwh/day to 38-39 kwh/day. Trying to gauge what is causing increase. Possible we are paying for street lights :) Latest bill was about $200 for one month.

Did run dehumidifier but not daily... will see next bill.

Does leaving dvr receiver consume alot of power when tv off? Wondering if that is the culprit as we turn off tv but not receiver [although nothing new in that habit].

same, last year's usage (23-25 kWh) is lower than this year (26-32 kWh) for every billing, this billings usage 2000.92 kwh for 62 days for $315
