How much is your internet?!

How the heck is my bill $114.69 for internet?!

Well they surreptitiously advertise their Fib25 <--- :) for $59 then add on $30 for bandwidth but instead of $89, it's a lot more pliable to the customers mind to say $59. Add HST of $12.xx and you get a grand total of $114!

They charged me $14 for 6 days of internet.

If we got a bill like this in 1995 when AOL and Netscape dialup was still around, we'd be outraged but today, we just pay it and rant a little to feel better.

Damn you interwebz!

Well I am sure I still "pay" for my Internet...the landlord probably just includes it in my rent amount :(

That's what you get for going with Bell, OP. The amount of sheer lies and trickery I saw when I worked there put me off that company forever.

I'm with Teksavvy on their second-tier cable package. $41.75 all in for a 200gb cap and pretty fast speed.

Nice. 100Mbit is insane. I had 25Mbit from Rogers and it was nice. I like Bell but not between 2pm to 2am. Some activities are throttled! Do you pay extra for bandwidth or is $149 for true unlimited use?

+ $50 for bandwidth or you use it very conservatively?

We have two users but we average about 70-80GB a month, way below the 125GB limit. I tried really hard to reach 120GB for a month and then next month was only 40GB :)

I get 20% off on Rogers Extreme right now.

They want me to renew to a 24 month contract, and they're giving me 30% in the first year, and 20% in the second. I'm going to do it, but I'm trying to squeeze as many dollars out of them as a I can.

Funny this topic comes up.

Shaw called me the other night and says there is a truck in your area this week and we can give you hs for $10 a month.

I told him I get telus for $6.00 a month now!!! thats right thanks to rfd i get it for $6.00 a month bundled with their phone and long distance.

The shaw guy couldn't beeive it, I told him I gave shaw plenty of opportunity to match telus and I was happy to get shaw at $20.00 a month before but they said no way.

Now i have leverage so when my telus deal expires in a year it may be back to shaw I still have their modem.

All in all I'm happy with telus now.

My cost $49 a month total for home phone unlimited LD and internet...

Peter
