How to send money online to brother???
I have to send some money to my brother in BC on regular basis. Is there any account where I can transfer money online? My present bank doesn't allow me to send money to anybody other than my own accounts and I don't want to send cheques.

Yeah deposit it into his bank account, or tell your brother to get a line of credit, and you could just set it up as a bill payment. Alternatively, you could do something like pay his other bills online.

Paypal can take a while to be deposited to him, so if it's an emergency, then there is trouble.
If you are willing to pay the fees, Western Union can be done online.
Get him a supplementary credit card of one of yours?

Interac Email Money Transfer......all you need is his email addy, the rest is up to him. You can set it up as a recurring transfer on a certain day each month, and off it goes.http://www.tdcanadatrust.com/ebankin...l_transfer.jsp
All the big 5 offers it, plus a bunch of smaller banks. The accounts at Bmo give you 2 free per month with your bank plan.

For a no-fee way, just get his power bill account and pay his power bill for him with your online banking. Or gas bill, or whatever.

What about opening up another account in your name, and giving him the ATM card? Something like PC Financial, so he has unlimited withdrawals using a CIBC bank machine.
You just have to make sure that there are no holds for bank to bank transfers. I'm not entirely sure if there are.
