You can use your own headphones that plug into the microphone adapter on the stock headset that comes with the W810. The only problem with that is the microphone cord is pretty long, so the headphones are the short ones (^ see picture). If you use your own headphones, you might want to invest into that small adapter, less cables to deal with (but then you lose the microphone).
I've had my W810 since last September, the phone is amazing and I haven't seen anything on the market so far that rivals it in features/quality for the same price.
For the guys who have hiss during mp3s, just upgrade your firmware through SEUS...

The only part of the phone I do not like is the keys are way too small and the jack adapter that you have to use. I don’t understand the complaints from some posters on the MP3 player. It is very good and there is an equalizer so you can customize the sound. As the poster said above you might want to invest in a smaller adapter because the one they give you is way too long and the cords become a little cumbersome when you attach the headphones.
