I opened this thread to read some romantic comments. Lol!! But this is such an entertaining fun comment sessionFace With Stuck-out Tongue And Tightly-closed EyesFace With Tears Of Joy
I’m actually shocked the conversation had stayed reasonably calm

I had plans to take her out to our favourite restaurant, they have a special dinner for $75 per person, but now she's come down with a brutal cold.
Looks like I saved $150.00. Grinning Face With Smiling Eyes
Can be rescheduled :D

Somewhere
Partner has a dinner with out of town company folks.

I'll be spending time with my two bunnies, catering their V-Day dinner with heart shaped red peppers.

You know you're going to walk away with $500 in furniture and assorted housewares, right?

My valentine and I will be enjoying dinner at the Keg Fallsview/Embassy Suites.

We have a $100 gift card which should really help soften the blow.

Valentines is not a big event for us in terms of spending $
On Cards & Flowers, etc

But we’ll most likely just have a nice dinner at home
With wine and dessert
Followed by an evening infront of the fire sipping more wine
And making plans for upcoming vacations in 2019
(To much warmer places)

It’s been our Valentines go to for several years now
A night to pour over brochures, websites & ideas
And leisurely talk them thru / get inspired

Air Canada’s current Seat Sale Ends on the 14th
So we may actually do some bookings, when all is said & done

Honestly... this makes more sense than going to a restaurant on a "special" day (Vday, Mother's day, Xmas, etc)
It's so stupidly busy on these types of days that you usually get crammed in with 1000 other people, a limited menu that's built for speed instead of taste, and just a general sense of rushing.

That actually sounds like a lot of work.

I think I would just enjoy laying around the couch doing absolutely nothing and just relaxing. Thinking about a vacation requires too much thinking and, subsequent, plannings and action thereafter.

I doubt my son will give us a chance to relax, but at a minimum will grab some nice takeout. The local icecream joint is running a B1G1.

Is that Dairy Queen?
They have a two for one on ice cream sandwiches and dilly bars. We bought a box of each
