Would have been a good deal if it had discrete graphics like a 1050 or something.

Same specs, different display at only $780
I can't seem to confirm for sure, but the HP linked laptop has a 256 GB PCIe® NVMe™ M.2 SSD vs. the costco one which 'may' only have a 256 GB SATA SSD (since it isn't specific and I can't find ANY information about the HP Pavillion 15-CC523CA from costco, but I'm guessing that this is the case). This would make the HP linked SSD significantly faster (~5x max read) than the costco one, which may or may not affect your buying decision.

Pavillion < Envy < Spectre
This. Unless the Pavillion line has changed dramatically over the last few years, they used to be really cheaply made.

I've played with the Pavilion in store at Costco as well as the Spectre x360 in store at Best Buy. The Spectre definitely feels much nicer and better constructed than the Pavilion. I do not know what the Envy is like but if it's closer in build quality to the Spectre then it's probably a good buy.

Personally I'm waiting to see what kind of Black Friday deals pop up for the Spectre x360.

Looks pretty solid, warm deal, not as hot as some of the spicier ones, but still a good deal
