The Fire TV Cube, which is pretty much a Fire TV and Amazon Echo Dot 2in1 is on sale today at HSN (Home Shopping Network - US) . Regularly $119.99 USD it's on sale for $69.99 USD, if you use masterpass you get an extra $20 off, bringing the price down to $49.99. Note: using MasterPass may be tricky as you may have to have a US billing address ties to it to use it, as some have reported below; YMMV.

So you are getting a 2GB RAM Fire TV with Amazon Echo Dot Speaker built in, and from my understanding the cube comes with a ethernet adapter if you prefer a wired connection; adapter normally sells for $14.99 usd on its own all for $49.99 USD, only $10 more than the regular price of the less powerful firestick which only has 1GB of RAM.

HSN does not ship outside the US and I have never purchased from HSN myself but you shouldn't have an issue sending to a forwarder like CBI, myMallBox, or CrossBorderPickUps, so there is your YMMV!!!

I heard that fire models purchased in the USA have problems functioning in Canada. Can anyone confirm?

I've only used the firesticks and fireTVs from the US for Kodi, terrarium, and IPTV, and have had no issues, can't speak for Amazon services, never had a need for Prime Video.

They work fine. if you have a prime membership for the US you can watch prime content in Canada. You can watch with your Canadian prime membership though

That is correct for some models, such as the Fire TV 4k gen2; generally if the product never launched in Canada, it won't work properly.

Not true, all the fire stick models, including the 4k model still have only 1gb of RAM all the fireTV models have 2gb of RAM; this makes a big difference.

I can't place order via masterpass, always get "There was a problem processing your masterpass checkout. Please go back and try again."

Same message for me..
Maybe something to do with masterpass being registered to Canada?
