yea, the htc hd2 looks fricken crazy good. Especially with the sense ui over winmo. It should make it alot more user friendly. However, I am not sure how battery life would be on it.
I do plan on replacing my htc magic with the HD2 or xperia x3.

Htc hd2
It looks like an amazing phone, one of the snappiest smartphones I've seen so far. It has 4.3" capacitative screen with 1GHz MSM8250 CPU, a massive, 800 x 480 res. It's being released in the UK this month, is anyone planning on getting one? I sure would love to use one as a wifi browser and for multimedia functions despite not being able to use it for 3G i think. Suprisingly, for its screen size this unit is still slimmer than the iphone and just slightly bigger in overall length and width.

Yeah this phone looks really good. Anyone know if the UK version will work with Rogers if I just buy an unlocked version and insert a Rogers sim? Would love to have this phone.

Snagged the Touch Pro2 in September, but I think I'll sell it off and grab a X3.
I did glance over the HD2, but I think I want to go over to Android or WebOS -- and since I don't like the Pre/Pixi, X3 is the way to go~.
Check out this demo video for the X3

don't think canadians/americans people are willing to spend so much money on a phone that doesn't have North American frequency
It will work with Rogers/Fido but for data speeds, you will be on slow EDGE network. The phone doesn't have North American 3G bands (850/1900MHz)

HD2 on Rogers
I am impressed by this phone too but I really want to wait for 4G since Rogers is already rolling it out. As for it working in Canada, the phone will because it's quad band. However, the UTMS is missing the key bands we use in Canada. Your internet experience will only be EDGE.
