Wait until the zwelling warehouse sale in April and get the Staub, that's larger and cheaper than this price during the sale

Really? Have you been to the Staub sale ? Is it by invite ? I bought one of these but I think I prefer Staub.

The warehouse sale is not by invite, but it may not be good for most people outside of GTA. Zwelling also has 50% off site wide sale on web site once or twice a year, more choices and benefiting more people not living in the center.

Yeah, they have the warehouse sale every September and April/May. A few days before that, they usually have 50% off the main site (but warehouse in Toronto is cheaper). No invite, just get there an 1.5-2 hours before it starts, because line ups are HUGE. We bought the 6qt oven cocotte for about ~$145ish

This thing is 3.1L. That doesn’t sound very big. Maybe for a couple, but how about for a family of 4 or more...hmmmm

Hmmm. What to do? The warehouse sale sounds like good prices but this size is only meant for about 2-3 servings. Since it’s just me and my husband , sounds about right. I don’t need a bigger one . Already have a Staub 3.8 l(4quart) Dutch oven and that’s plenty big.

Yeah, I have 4 kids and I’d love to buy one of these but am concerned about the 3.1L size. I wonder if I can make enough spaghetti for sauce or stew in one to feed the fam

It’s a good deal. I already bought one or I’d be all over this. My soufflés are to die for thanks to this and my nona’s recipes.

3.1 litres - this is a petite cocotte suitable for romantic dinners for two.

Most people will get this and be surprised to find it much smaller than what they were expecting. The 5.5qt or 6qt dutch ovens are by far the most common size.
McDealer: Good morning, gentlemen, the temperature is 110 degrees.

Thanks for the tip! I ended up going to the nearby linen chest, and they had a red one in stock. For $150 plus tax, you cannot go wrong! Thanks again for the tip
