Huge delimma
that i'm afraid that if i don't get 85%, i wont be able to go into both the business programs which is U of T downtown and U of T scarbough. So i thought that if i apply for U of T downtown ( the mark requirement is 75- to high 70s) its a better chance of me getting in to at least one university thats close to Toronto. And plus i also have U of T SC for Co-up which i applied for, so if i do get 85% i will still be able to go into U of T SC for CO-UP. The question is, do u think this is a good decision?
Additional Q: since its social science (including economics) will they force me to take some social science courses in year one?Last edited by blitzman; Jan 11th, 2009 at 10:50 PM.

Even if you don't get acceptance to UTSG business program, do a year as an arts&science. this is quite useful:

co-op
mark requirement 75-high seventies is their nice way of saying don't apply if u dont have mid/high eighties. i definitly wouldnt count on getting into utsg commerce with 85. even utsc coop, still wont be a forsure thing.

Yeah. Nowadays, entrance marks to get into UT Commerence is HIGH! 10+ years ago, it was high 70's but the catch is, once you're in 1st year, students still needed to re-apply to get into 2nd year (unless you got guaranteed enrollement). 1000 seats down to 300. That was HARD!
I wouldn't have gotten in if I applied now.
