Thanks in advance.

My son is just four and half months old. I set my temperature as 20 degree,but not sure which humidity level I should set at home in the winter(I live in Toronto). Could anyone give some suggestions?

comfortably i believe its 30. But this is dependent on outside tempurature.

But I do find that some kids prefer a higher level of humidity. My daughter when she was younger, really wanted it high for a good sleep.

There should be a gauge on the selector. On mine it shows 40% above 0C, 35% -10C to 0C, etc. This prevents condensation on your windows.

The recommended humidity level is 35 to 45% RH during the winter time. This is the optimum level of humidity for healthy indoor environment and is essential for cold and flu prevention:

This and next month is the coldest month which means your furnace will be operating frequently that further decreases indoor humidity to unbearable levels if no humidifiers are present.

On my control unit it says "set according to outside temperature as follows":
-20 = 15%
0 = 25%
+20 = 35%

Yes, this is exactly what I am asking for. RIght now, the outside is -20, so should I set humidity level as 15% or 40%?

If it's -20C outside, then your humidity should be lower. So 15% should be what it's set to.
